With all this horse puckey about the apocalypse looming today it's been kinda hard to get in the Christmas spirit. Let's take it back to 1987 for a true Christmas classic. This RUN-D.M.C. song was released on a Christmas compilation that was a staple in my household in the early nineties. A Very Special Christmas included Christmas renditions and originals by many famous artists inculding, Madonna, Bob Seger, U2, and Whitney Huston among others. Of course in my Oshkosh B'goshs and backwards Darkwing Duck hat, I relished in this exposure to hip-hop at a young age. Back when MTV played videos this one was always a treat to see around Holiday time! This, and the one with Maria Carey in a Santa skirt, woo!
