Ever since the one-year anniversary of his death in 2003, the Joe Strummer tribute has become in annual tradition in Buffalo. Artists from various backgrounds come to pay respects to one of the greatest songwriters ever. This year, tons of talented acts are on the bill, including Rebel Waltz, Ghetto Defendants, and The Prisoners. All of the proceeds from the show will go to benefit Strummerville: The Joe Strummer Foundation For New Music. With so many great artists on the bill, this should be an excellent show that would make the man proud. The fun starts at 8 tonight at Mohawk.
