Tonight, the Soft Moon is altering the universe at the Bug Jar in Rochester. Their re-scheduled concert
will feature the wild music and visuals of Luis Vasquez, Justin Anastasi, Damon
Way, Kevin Tecon, and Ron Robinson. Producing terrifying electronic bursts of noise
suitable for any horror movie soundtrack, the freaky post-punk outfit is now on
tour in support of its sophomore LP, Zeros.
Vasquez has described the San Francisco-based band’s sound as “layers of
atmospherics/textures … express[ing] moods.” Their darkly surreal show will be opened by Montreal's
Majical Cloudz and followed by Shakedown DJ’s at 11pm. Tickets are $8 for those
over 21 and $10 for anyone under. Doors open at 7:30pm and music begins at
8:30.
