A new band pops in Buffalo just about as often as someone calls in an order of chicken wings, so its rare that one generates as much buzz, so quickly, that lo-fi duo Space Wolves (Nick Reynolds and Chris Scamurra) has managed. Born out of Amherst, New York, the jangly tag-team combines some of the better elements of 90's college rock, surf pop, and fuzzed out rock on their two releases, Space Wolves and Spaces Wolves 2, both of which can be streamed at their bandcamp page.
Tonight, they sit down to chat with host Michael Moretti on the WBNY Local Show, in addition to performing live and playing some some of their favorite tunes out of Buffalo.
