Buffalo's goth popper Kyle J. Reigle, who records and performs under the name Cemeteries, recently debuted his Camp Counselors side project. In a possible a nod to Camp Crystal Lake's doomed staff, Camp Counselors continues Reigle's love for all things horror. The first single, "2/5/11," moves away from Cemeteries' dream pop sounds to more ambient soundscapes, while the B-side, the tense and uneasy "Oslo," is much more beat driven than anything heard on Cemeteries' full length The Wilderness. You can listen to the single below or download both the single and it's B-side at the project's bandcamp page. A full length Camp Counselors album will be released sometime this spring.
