Passion Pit's brand of dark-but-catchy synth pop has found a larger and larger audience over the past four years. Their latest album Gossamer has a been a huge success, bringing the band ever closer to the mainstream. The clip for their new single "Carried Away" is a grand exercise in weirdness while also being genuinely touching.
The clip shows a dysfunctional relationship going through many stages. An awkward scene at a party leads ends up leading to sex, while the characters clothes are flying all around the room. Eventually, the couple has a nasty argument where they are literally attacked by their own words. The clip also stars former One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush.
