Ten years ago, Drive-Thru Records was on top of the world. With huge releases from bands like Dashboard Confessional, New Found Glory, Something Corporate, and many more, Drive-Thru helped define the punk-pop and emo sound of the early to mid 2000's. Though now mostly defunct, most of the kids who bought their records are now twenty-somethings in established bands of their own.
The Pink is hosting a Drive-Thru Records Happy Hour featuring hours of DTR hits. Brett Mikoll of All Blondes Go to Heaven fame (whose band is surely influenced by at least a few of these bands) will be hosting. He'll be spinning Drive-Thru bands from 6-11. If you haven't heard "The Best of Me" by The Starting Line in a decade or that huge Hellogoodbye song that somehow went platinum, maybe it's worth your while to stop by.
