Steak & Cake Records didn't get to put on their Bidwell 5000 festival last summer - they got shut down by The Man! - but the Buffalo-based indie label has certainly been busy in their second year alive. Based on the great shows they've put on and their steady stream of fresh releases, it's fair to say Steak & Cake is set to have a solid third year. To kick it off, the label is throwing a Birthday Party for themselves tonight at The Vault (702 Main St., 9PM, $5/$10 gets you a shirt, too). Sets will be proffered by On Beta, The Rotaries, The Malones, Pleistocene, and Hussalonia, along with DJ work by the always awesome Shaken Stylus; go!
