So Facebook was in a buzz yesterday over the news that something big was happening today.  Something that would change the Buffalo music scene.  Well looks like the news was of a new venue called the Waiting Room.  Whether this will have such an impact remains to be seen.  Not much of the 450 capacity venue is known outside of that it will be across the street from Babeville at 334 Delaware, home of the soon-to-be-gone-too-soon Sinful Night Club (insert sarcasm anywhere you like).  Word is everyone's favorite curmudgeon barkeep Erik Roesser will be back slinging beers and working on the local bookings, so expect some old Mohawk acts to possibly take up residency, while Donny Kutzbach of Funtime and Chris Ring of After Dark will be taking care of national bookings.  According to the current website, doors open on 4/1 with a list of shows coming very soon.
