The all-female Savages debuted last year with only two songs, one of which, "Husbands," was a mind blowing-ly good statement of intent. Simultaneously controlled and frenzied, here was a band that immediately needed to be noticed. Yesterday, the band released the first single, "She Will," off of their forthcoming full length, and it matches the ferocity of "Husbands." Opening with a single guitar and then adding a simple but powerful drum beat, "She Will" is driven by Jehnny Beth's ferocious vocals, finally ending in cacophony. The new album, Silence Yourself, will be released on May 7th.
