Record Store Day 2013 is in the books, and hopefully you grabbed a couple goodies yesterday. While I did not purchase any exclusive RSD releases, I did pick up a copy of Stereolab's Dots and Loops for my collection so I left happy. One of the more interesting releases from yesterday was Nicolas Jaar's remix of Grizzly Bear's "Sleeping Ute." Jaar's nearly 8 minute remix sees Daniel Rossen's jagged riffs delayed as his now distant vocals suspend over a warm haze. Just as quickly as the riff appears, it fades into the background as a steady groove takes over. Rossen's vocals return while various percussion and beats guide the tune to it's end. Chances are you didn't grab a copy of this single yesterday so feel free to enjoy it endlessly below.
