Following up her 2012 debut LP, Quarantine, New York producer Laurel Halo has released a track from her upcoming EP Behind The Green Door, out next month on Hyperdub. "Throw" is a haunting track driven by an out of tune piano and menacing dub rhythms. The EP marks a transition from laptop production to using an MPC sampler to compose the four tracks, which according to Halo, has benefited her sound as well as her live performances.
