Listener's Digest: Ty Segall - "Music for a Film 1"

Is it even noteworthy when Ty Segall releases something new anymore? That's not a knock at the guy, but jesus does he ever take a breather? While not the biggest Segall fan, I really appreciate not only the hyper rate in which he continues to release music, but also the high quality of his stuff. There rarely is a filler tune or a throw away album from him, and given how many bands fizzle out after one hit these days, Ty gets a tip of the cap from me. Anyways, the song, titled "Music for a Film 1," has a blistering guitar line with an uncharacteristic funky beat to the song. A beat full of fuzz, but funky nonetheless. You may download the song, which is part of a VH1 Saves the Music benefit split single, here.
