In the late 2000s, Andrew Jackson Jihad quickly developed a reputation as one of the best folk-punk bands around. Their albums People That Can Eat People Are The Luckiest People In the World, and Knife Man received excellent reviews from critics, while their insightful, politically charged lyrics won them a decidedly left-wing fan base. Tonight, AJJ frontman Sean Bonnette will be playing a solo gig at the Tralf Music Hall, along with Cheap Girls frontman Ian Graham, and Sonny Baker. While the set may consist of of some AJJ songs, Bonnette has been known to cover other artists on this tour, including alt-country icon Todd Snider. For fans of folk, and punk alike, this promises to be a fun show. Tickets cost $10 and doors open at 7pm.
