Fuck Buttons have been relatively quiet since they released the masterful Tarot Sport in 2009, but will be returning with a new album, Slow Focus, later this summer. "The Red Wing," an edited down version of an 8 minute song, is the first single off of that album and an extremely promising one. The edit is an epic unrelenting mix of noise and rhythm, put together to a thrilling effect. Slow Focus will be released on July 23.
Fuck Buttons ruined electronic music for me. Nothing feels quite as emotional or interesting anymore.
