Moon Killer, the great 2011 mixtape from Brooklyn's Small Black, was one of my favorite releases in the what appears to be fizzling out chill wave genre (or at the very least evolving). Their follow up, titled Limits of Desire, will be released in a couple weeks, and this morning, the band released the single, "No Stranger." The now synth favoring foursome's very enjoyable song features a light haze floating over Josh Kolenick's warm vocals as a perfectly danceable beat backs the track. Limits of Desire will be release on May 14th.
cool to see you guys wrting about these guys as I used to be in this band, before ditching out by moving back to Buffalo to pursue graduate studies at UB. Still here. At least I can read about them.
