As part of the resurgence of great acts coming to The Tralf Music Hall, The Thermals arrive tonight at 8pm to support their latest collection of tortured punk ruminations, Desperate Ground. The Portland, Oregon rockers use their apparent frustration with the establishment as a stand-in for strife closer to the ground, the carnage created by strained relationships and the everyday helplessness we mortals so often feel. On their combative new record, the band use a traditional rock n' roll set up to produce blistering results. The explosive, expressive dynamos will be accompanied by special guests Space Wolves and Red Delicious. Tickets are $14.
