Check Out The First Two Singles From Weird Structures

Dream pop act Weird Structures is the latest project from John Walsh (Mechanical Migraines), formerly of Cemeteries. Over the last two days on bandcamp, Walsh and crew have released the first two singles from the project, "Beeswax" and "Reels." The former is an absolute blast, a Ride meets The War on Drugs mix of neo psychedelia. "Reels" is more epic, pushing the 7 min mark with celestial guitars and thunderous percussion. Walsh's vocals reminds me most of Brandon Cutis of the Secret Machines. Fans of both post-punk and shoegaze, in particular acts like DIIV and the Cure, would be wise to check out the two tracks. You can listen to "Beeswax" below and stream both tunes on Weird Structures bandcamp page.
