UK producer Matt Cutler, better known as Lone, is set to release a new 12" single on July 9 via R&S Records. "Airglow Fires," the records' a-side, is a bright cut of soulful house that according to Cutler is influenced by his love of classic hip-hop. The track features an infectious synth hook and jazzy chords that make for a warm, summery vibe. The producer's versatility is on full display during outro portion that changes direction entirely and transitions into forty seconds of instrumental hip-hop bliss reminiscent of producers like J Dilla and Madlib. With releases from Disclosure, Daft Punk, Classixx, and Lapalux, 2013 has already been an incredibly strong year for dance music and "Airglow Fires" only adds to the list of memorable tracks.
