Tonight: Night Beds

There's an old saying that you can't turn a ho into a housewife. Just throwing that out there. What you can do, however, is turn the Tralf into just about anything you want it to be. This is good news for fans of Night Beds, because you'll want to be in a silent room to experience the quiet force of lead singer Winston Yellen's voice.

Although, if you’re comfortable believing the band’s publicist, you won’t have much choice because “Winston will take off into the opening lines of his first song and the room just hushes up. [His voice is] that good.” After listening to him myself, I honestly can’t argue with that claim. Yellen has unbelievable talent, and the comfortable Tralf is the perfect platform to showcase it.

The show is billed as an event for fans of Fleet Foxes and Bon Iver, but if you buy a ticket with that in mind you may be disappointed. The best way to approach this show is with no expectations; not because it might be bad, but because it’s going to be like nothing you’ve ever heard before.

Doors open at 7pm. Show starts at 8, with Jenny O opening. Tickets are still available for $10.
