Chicago's Willis Earl Beal had one of the most intriguing debuts of 2012 with Acousmatic Sorcery. The blues singer's powerful voice paired with dusty production resulted in a record hinting at tremendous potential while also still leaving more to be desired. As a result of his signing with XL records, Beal now has access to a full studio and recording budget. With that, Beal looks to come into his own as an artist on his sophomore LP, Nobody Knows. The latest track released from the project, "Too Dry To Cry" is a hauntingly spiritual piece of blues that churns with a thundering pace and is carried by Beal's soaring vocals.
