Bryan Johnson & Family Keeps Summer Alive With "Mount Vesuvius"

Summer isn't over until resident beach rockers Bryan Johnson & Family says so. While the now four piece has been playing live quite a bit lately, including an upcoming opening gig for Darwin Deez next month, the band rarely releases new recorded music. Late yesterday afternoon though, the band dropped "Mount Vesuvius" on us via Soundcloud, a song that has been a live staple of their's for a little while now. Recorded at GCR and mixed at World of Noise, the single features a great rolling guitar lick and crisp, soaring vocals from Johnson (sans mustache sadly), a perfect marriage of Beach Fossils and Surfer Blood. Funded by the Inventory Monday Showcase, the single is the first of some new music to be released via Inventory Records later this year, so keep an eye out.
