Detroit beatmusic producer Shigeto recently dropped the second single from his latest album, No Better Time Than Now, released August 19 via Ghostly. The samba influenced "Ringleader" is carried by a dense, intricate rhythms that give the track an acoustic feel with a natural groove. It's charm lies in the incredibly organic sound the producer has mastered here, which makes the six minute track seem like a spur of the moment session jam.
Montreal's Jacques Greene was responsible for one 2011's biggest dance hits with the Ciara sampling "Another Girl." The producer's latest release finds him once again using the R&B singer's voice as source material for his remix of "Body Party." With an undeniable talent for using some of the catchiest vocal hooks, Greene puts his signature ethereal style on the track, making for an interesting take on the original that maintains all of the infectious pop appeal.
UK producer Huxley's remix of Bassment Jaxx's single "What A Difference Your Love Makes"takes a more straightforward house approach to the track, adding a two step rhythm and grimy bassline. The remix uses the right elements of the vocal track to effectively turn the bright electropop of the original inside out by infusing it with the sounds of the underground.
New Jersey born Chris Malinchak is best known for his debut single "So Good to Me," released back in May to rave reviews from BBC radio 1 DJ's Annie Mac and Pete Tong. The producer builds on the soulful house style that first earned him recognition on his latest track "So Into You." With a smooth vocal combined with down tempo percussion and nu disco synth line, Malinchak's ability to craft warm, infectious dance tracks with a chilled-out vibe is on full display here.
