Tell all your friends! The emo-alternative scene just wouldn't have been the same without Taking Back Sunday - they will be returning to town, this time, hot on the heels of this summer's sold out Brand New show. For those of us who still crank Tell All Your Friends (now you understand the genius of my opening statement), you might remember the not-so-friendly rivalry between BN and TBS (see: Brand New - "Seventy Times Seven" or Taking Back Sunday - "There's No I in Team"). I'm sure it's probably just a coincidence and not just one band trying to upstage the other, but nonetheless, Taking Back Sunday will be here flaunting their original lineup, and I'm sure we'll hear selections from each one of their five studio albums.
They will be supported by an all-star emo-pop-punk lineup which includes Polar Bear Club and Transit, both of whom recently had successful shows of their own when they stopped in Buffalo. You can catch the show at the Town Ballroom on October 12 or at Water Street in Rochester on the 13th (or both for that matter). Enjoy the throwback from the early 2000s below.
