After months of touring, the four-piece chamber rock act Grizzly Bear will be arriving in Niagara Falls to perform at The Rapids Theatre tonight. The quartet has steadily released LPs and EPs since 2004, and have garnered a reputation as being one of this decade's most exciting projects. Known for their clever, unconventional, guitar- drum- keyboard- bass arrangements, Grizzly Bear pairs this with lyrics and vocal arrangements that cast a sort of disembodied and forlorn atmosphere on their songs. Their most recent LP, Shields, is their most buoyant and unrestrained release yet and checking them out in Niagara Falls is certainly one of the best concert options this summer has to offer.
