Chae Hawk Drops New Video "Dirty Rich"

Chae Hawk is a man of many talents; he's a rapping, networking, business machine. A theme in his music and videos is his proud hometown of Buffalo. In his newest video, "Dirty Rich" (the track produced by Grabbitz), Hawk is shown interacting with all walks of Buffalo from the West Side, East Side, and Downtown. One feature of the video is the understated Colored Musicians Club located on Broadway Street. The Club, in the 30s to the 50s, has featured some of the greatest jazz legends...EVER. Just to name a few, Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie, and Lena Horne. Hawk is seen in the video peering through the windows, printed with names of African American-centric music styles.

His focus on community bleeds through everything he does. He films visuals for his songs throughout both familiar and unfamiliar areas in the city, he features local artists, and riddles his music with Nickel City references. His professionalism is top-notch and his work ethic is impeccable. This statement can be easily supported with any of his work. Other than the included visual for "Dirty Rich," Chae Hawk's portfolio can be seen on YouTube and scattered around the city. Keep an open eye.

  1. Way to go, Chae! I really like this track AND the video, and I'm a white boy (Buffalo ex-patriot) who's not a big hip hop fan! Seeing this kind of talent in my hometown almost makes me want to go back (and help promote you to the skies). best of luck to you.
