Tonight: Darwin Deez

Get your moustache properly groomed and hipster sweater nice and worn in, because NYC twee indie-pop trio Darwin Deez will be bringing the above accouterments along with some solidly hooky, almost lullaby-like pop tunes, to one of Buffalo’s newest hotspots, The Waiting Room, this evening.  They are back in town, touring in support of their latest record, Songs For Imaginative People, so expect plenty of new tunes to go along with older favorites such as “Lie Detector.”  There’s a plethora of openers for the show as well, including labelmate and fellow NYCers (although they’re actually from Brooklyn, have to make that distinction) Caged Animals, as well as local favorites Bryan Johnson & Family, and Lesionread.  Tickets are $13, with doors opening at 6PM. That’s a small price to pay for what is sure to be a long night with some quality music.

  1. I liked his hip hop stuff better. Wonka Beats is like the greatest thing.

  2. I know. I like them also. It's the most relaxing music you can try.
