Tonight: Elephant Revival

I imagine that when Elephant Revival formed, Artemis smiled. Not only does their music evoke walking through a misty wood among wild deer with a full sky of stars pressing forward, but also a sense of personal empowerment that this goddess of the hunt exudes. In fact, their melodies are a balance of the elements, whether it’s the fluid and poignant mandolin drawing in waves of delight, the rock steady beat of the djembe, the gliding twang of the fiddle hurdling through the air, or the spark of their voices, each component weaves its way into folk melodies that are pure spirit.

Indeed, the group is grounded in care for the earth by working with organizations like Conscious Alliance and Trees, Water, & People. Tonight, these light-filled beings from Colorado will grace Babeville, a most auspicious venue to host this incredible group. So, flora and fauna, sylphs and satyrs, at 8 p.m. for an affordable 15 dollars, you’ll witness a little glimpse of the divine.
