Crushes, an up and coming synth-pop duo from Rochester, has recently released a fresh track via their Soundcloud page. "Heartache" opens with a soft synth melody that ricochets through evolving filters underneath the warm vocals of Laura "LuLu" Robinson until it suddenly transitions into a bright display of thudding, ear catching synth production and melody. From that point on, the rest of the song sort of sweeps through you as a hypnosis would - driven by shimmering synth hooks and lyrics that we could all relate to at one point or another.
