Buffalo's own Pentimento is back with a new EP... I mean, they never really "left" per say, they've just been touring furiously. Either way, the four-song Inside The Sea is bristling with the band's patented brand of emo-punk. Inside the Sea is full of gravely vocals, soaring harmonies, and top notch production from engineer Jay Zubricky... In fact, Pentimento is probably the poster child for what I've been calling the "GCR crew" (which also includes The Traditional, Cedar Kites, etc.). Check out "Just Friends," a sing-your-heart-out anthem that finds Pentimento at their sharpest. Perhaps most importantly, it proves these guys are just as driven as they were when they started.
