Blitzen Trapper tries on many suits, but the alternative country size seems to fit them real snug. They play the role of American storyteller as if it were their birthright. Cutting through the crap, this crew from the Pacific Northwest give a straight up old fashioned rock performance without tinsel and other distractions. They're piping hot off the release of their adventurous new album VII which only just came out on October 1st, so a raw and enthusiastic performance tonight at the Tralf ($18, 8pm) will certainly be in order.
