Chicago sensation, Chance the Rapper, is blowing into Buffalo tonight, Thursday, November 7th at Town Ballroom. It seems like overnight that the twenty-year-old Chancelor Bennett rose to fame. It was pretty much overnight that he burst out of hip hop's womb with his mix tape 10-Day, released April 2012, based off his ten day suspension from school back in 2011.

After catching the attention of Childish Gambino, Chance's career exploded and he continues to drop wildly inventive tracks, via singles and his new album, Acid Rap. The new album bears all the classic elements of gospel and soul with the interlaced modern style of thin, pulsing synth-cymbals. As far as singles go, a special favorite is his collabo in James Lake's "Life Round Here", first heard courtesy of Straight Dope, right here on buffaBLOG.
