After seven albums with Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers, singer-songwriter Stephen Kellogg has gone solo. Comparable to Ryan Adams or Josh Ritter, Kellogg's music is built from a moving, full-blooded Americana mindset. Blunderstone Rookery, his David Copperfield-influenced new record, is a stunning and earnest fusion of classic rock and country-folk influences. He will be joined tonight at the Ninth Ward of Babeville by fellow folk songsters The Saint Johns and Rebecca Brooks. Doors open at 8pm and tickets are $20.
