Disco Infiltrator: December 20th

Paul Woolford - "Untitled" (Deetron Remix)
Paul Woolford's piano house belter, "Untitled," was one of the biggest dance floor tracks from this past summer, merging elements of tech house with sultry vocals and infectious chords. Swiss producer Deetron offers a slightly darker re-imagination of the cut adding acid synth lines and bolstering the tracks' percussion. Well-paced builds and explosive drops take the original deeper and make for one of the more impressive remixes of the already classic track.

Deceptive - "Only U"
Despite having only a few tracks to his name, London producer Deceptive has come through with the smooth garage influenced stomper "Only U." With a driving bass line and two-step rhythm, the energetic track makes use of a wide array of percussive sounds that together create a sound that's impossible to sit still to.

Trikk - "Jointly (Brooklyn Mix)"
Back in 2012, Portuguese producer Trikk released "Jointly" with b-side "Fall Down" on George Fitzgerald's ManMakeMusic label. Deciding to revisit the track, this "Brooklyn Mix" is an even more soulful rework, adding some body to the original with hard-hitting percussion and plenty of reverb. Download the track for free below.

Moroka - "Give it to The People" (Child Of Lov Tribute)
In honor of the late singer The Child of Lov, London producer offered this house inspired remix of "Give it to The People," a fitting tribute to a promising young artist who worked with legends like MF DOOM, Thundercat, and Damon Albarn. The track's uplifting vibe allows the message of the original cut to come across clear as ever.

Mix of the Week: Kaytranada - "Instrumental Hip-Hop Is Dead"
Fans of J-Dilla's Donuts, or Flying Lotus' Los Angeles will definitely want to check out the latest mix by Montreal via Haiti producer Kaytranada for Hypetrak. Showing off his range to create R&B flavored house tracks and dance mixes as well as flawless hip hop sets, the mix is full of incredible tracks that combine elements of classic boom-bap production with futuristic bass sounds. Highlights include a stunning remix of Missy Elliot's "The Rain" along with countless heavy tunes that unfortunately have yet to be identified as there is no tracklist. Download the mix below.
