Buffalo-based producer, Chris Alan, has finally released a song from his fresh project Passion in Constellation. It's the culmination of skills and tastes acquired from years of experimenting with production as a graduate of SUNY Fredonia's Sound Recording Technology program and his current occupation as a sound engineer at Fischer Price.

"Sunlight" is a low-key, yet ambitious house track. It begins with an infectious synth melody that is shortly accompanied by the sultry vocals of Lynn Ferenc. Ethereal synth riffs further color in a kick-less interlude before a sweepingly bright chorus devours your ears as the vocalist repeats "'till the sunlight." Highlights of the track also include the layered buildup that leads to the bridge, a display of glittering staccato synth-work weaved alongside chopped vocals. As the track progresses through various stages of suspense and excitement, it finally retreats to the melody it begins with, thereby allowing it to end on a note that leaves the listener with a sense of tranquility. Overall, it is a highly cheerful debut that makes us wonder what exciting things the emerging Buffalo producer has in store for the future. So don't hesitate, just press play!
