It's great to have The Dead Weather back! After an excellent solo debut in 2012, Jack White has re-teamed with Allison Mosshart (late of The Kills) to finally deliver the group's third album after a brutal four-year wait. If the early returns are any indicator, this is going to be an absolute motherfucker of a record. "Rough Detective" is everything amazing about this band in three glorious minutes. An instantly memorable riff from White, followed by the dark vibes that Mosshart has brought to all her projects. 15 years since the release of the first White Stripes album, Jack's winning streak rolls on, with no end in sight. What a time to be alive.
