With a new album in shops next week and a ton of buzz and radio play behind them, Phantogram released a video for their hit "Fall In Love" earlier this week. Featuring kinetic editing and a psychedelic light show that hopefully previews their live shows, the Greenwich NY duo, like Ra Ra Riot, is another upstate act getting national attention. Phantogram's continued buzz can be attributed to throbbing beats, tasteful sound collages, and the soulful and sensual vocals of Sarah Barthel. Recorded in upstate Saratoga Springs (the pair's home town), the duo's sophomore album Voices, looks to be a breakthrough album for the band with "Fall In Love" all over Toronto radio, 91.3 and Alt Buffalo, and while a local show might be a bit of a stretch, it'd sure be nice.
Voices drops February 18th.
