Toronto-based artist Timbre Timbre (aka Taylor Kirk) has dropped the title single "Hot Dreams" from his forthcoming release on Arts & Crafts Records. Seductive, as always, with a more exaggerated country western twang, Kirk slides in off the bat with "I wanna dance with a black woman." The song holds more meaning in the pleasantly skeezy cinematic video shot in strip club where the dancer on stage is coveted by the patrons. The smooth saxophones lend a turn of the 90s "makin' love in silk sheets" scenario that I found exceptionally appropriate.
