Listener's Digest: Beach Weather - "Dreamboat"

Earlier this year, we shared "Breach," a great track from Alabama dream pop musician Henry Armbrecht performing under Beach Weather moniker. Last weekend, Armbrecht dropped his newest tune, the dreamy and ergo appropriately titled, "Dreamboat." This time around, Armbrecht sounds Peter Silberman of the Antlers while the soothing melody and subtle beat could easily soundtrack that setting summer sun in the photo below. You can download the tune here and stream below.

Listener's Digest: Beach Weather - "Breach"

A great EP came across on our blog inbox a couple weeks ago from Henry Armbrecht, a 20 year old Alabama musician performing under the name of Beach Weather.  Back in Jan, he released his debut Cascadia, a five song EP of ambient electronica, via his bandcamp page.  The standout and lead off track, "Breach," is a somber tune of hazy vocals and warm synths over a nice muted melody, not sounding too unlike Apparat, Youth Lagoon, or even M83 at his most restrained and melancholic.  Despite the band's name, the lonely song feels like it could easily soundtrack one of those desolate, yet gorgeous tundra landscapes.
