
Jazz bassist Esperanza Spalding brings her immense talents to UB's Center for the Arts tonight for the first night of her tour. The Portland, Oregon born musician, composer, and teacher won the coveted Best New Artist award at the 2011 Grammys. Spalding's ambitious fourth solo album, Radio Music Society, dropped in March to positive reviews. All eleven songs from the album will be accompanied by short conceptual films.
The show starts at 7:30 and tickets are available at the box office for $42, $37, and $27.
