Buffalo Producer and DJ Ryan "Arehouse" Howze released a new mix last week that is perfect for embracing this slow transition into Spring. Titled "Love in the Air" as it's heavily themed with soulful love songs that prompt a rhythmic heartbeat. Arehouse compiled this mix with many songs you'll recognize along with some of his productions sprinkled in. My favorite part is the inclusion of Solidisco's rework of the George Benson song "Turn Around" at about the 20 min mark. Throw this mix on when you get home from work and you're sure to begin bootyshakin' and feeling positive!
Munchi had a real health scare two years ago while touring in the United States when he suffered a seizure caused by an intracerebral hemorrhage. This type of brain bleeding can be brought on by any number of reasons. He was in the hospital for several days, and his condition so serious that he was temporarily in a coma. DJ Ayers, Dave Nada, and Titsworth started an artist/fan donation effort to pay off his American medical expenses and fly his ass back to his home to Rotterdam, Netherlands. Munchi, or Rajiv Münch recovered quickly and is now back, sharing his love of music with the entire world. Munchi's out going and all-over-the-place personality is the perfect catalyst for his productions. His music is Moombahton. And Reggaeton. And Kuduro. And Baile. And Dutch House. And Dubstep. And Bmore. And even Gabber. He embodies it all. The very humble Munchi, of Domenican decent, and based in the Netherlands, has a TRUE love for the music that separates him from all of his other innovative peers.
Currently signed to T&A Records, Mad Decent, and Selegna Records, Munchi has solidified his place in the world as the most worldly young man in the scene.

presented by the Queen City Cartel with support from New Era and
vitaminwater. Allen Street will be closed off and Duke's, The Bend, and
Sample will be participating in the day-to-night festivities. There
will be six headlining performances with support from over 30 of our
local artists. From 2pm-4am this is most definitely not an event to
miss.
Airhorns aren’t necessary to sound the arrival of Buffalo DJ and Producer AREHOUSE a.k.a. Ryan Howze. But they sure sound pleasurable in his latest Moombahton single “Novia de Pasado” or ‘past girlfriend’ for the anglos. The song is reflective on nights past, like a sunrise drive sometime in your future, with old-love on the mind. Ryan continues to produce soulful music of the Moombahton genre and with this latest release on Heartshape bass, he has solidified himself as an aficionado of this new wave of music. This fall he has been very busy with songs appearing on both David Heartbreak’s Moombahsoul Vol.3 (Mad Decent) and Generation Bass Presents Moombahluv Vol.1. (Generation Bass).
