Listener's Digest: Classixx - "All You're Waiting For" (ft. Nancy Whang)


Former LCD Soundsystem singer and keyboardist Nancy Whang's nonchalant yet energetic vocal delivery has the ability to turn dance floor ready tracks into complete works of pop bliss. Having recently collaborated with DFA labelmate, The Juan Maclean, on the excellent track "You Are My Destiny," Whang once again shows off her incredible pop sensibility on the latest single from Los Angeles electronic duo Classixx "All You're Waiting For." The track's bouncing synths and thick bass line along with bright keyboard interlude make for an undeniably summery feel and one of the catchiest tracks in recent memory. Look for Classixx's newest record, Hanging Gardens, out May 14th on Innovative Leisure. Listen below and start adding this one to your summer party playlists.

Listener's Digest: The Juan Maclean - "You Are My Destiny"


New York based band and original DFA label member The Juan Maclean's newest single "You Are My Destiny" features vocals from former LCD Soundsystem member Nancy Whang. The glossy house jam will be released via DFA as a single April 1st. Maclean's vocal sampling along with percussive synth stabs give the track a classic house feel and balances the dance-punk vocals of Whang with the bands shimmering dance production.
