With the release of their much anticipated and critically praised album Shields, Brooklyn chamber pop quartet Grizzly Bear seem to have entered that can't-do-no-wrong status of indie rock royalty.  While the band has been releasing music since 2004, it wasn't until their breakthrough album, 2009's Veckatimest, that more than just critics began taking serious notice.  That album's first single, the gorgeous, harmony laden "Two Weeks," was their most successful and accessible cut to date and just a couple weeks ago, Night Panther, the sexualized synth pop duo out of Philadelphia, released their own take on the tune.  The brash, danceable cover is almost unrecognizable to even the most long time GB fan and features almost unimaginably high falsettos.  While we are on the topic, if you have the itch to catch Grizzly Bear live this evening, they just so happen to be playing at Toronto's Massey Hall.  As of yesterday, some tickets were still available.  Enjoy.
