This evening, glam funk pop rockers Of Montreal will be gracing the stage at Town Ballroom. This show marks a quick return for the group, who played a stellar show at the same venue just this past September. This current tour is a continuation of the one to support last fall's release False Priest, and is also a vehicle to debut material off of thecontrollersphere, an EP crafted from songs recorded along with those on False Priest. If tonight's show is anything like last fall's, then it will be a true feast for the senses. Elaborate costumes, abstract dance sequences and an array of lights and scenery should be expected. Additionally, it would not be surprising if they reach back into their catalogue and play a nice mixture of old and new material. The pomp and circumstance of an Of Montreal show is a great cause for celebration, so don your Easter finest and prepare to be dazzled by this truely vibrant and inventive group. The doors are at 7, and Painted Palm will be opening.
