Buffalo Gypsy Jazz group Babik will be playing tonight at Nietzche's. Named after the son of Gypsy Jazz guitarist pioneer Django Reinhardt, Babik has been playing their hybrid of swing, jazz, and folk since 2005 and continually take home the title of "Best Jazz Band" in pretty much every year end review of the local music scene, so clearly they are doing something right. Also playing with Babik tonight are the Skiffle Minstrels. The Minstrels' blend country, honky tonk, and blue grass recalls the early days of foot stomping hillbilly music. Tonight's show begins at 9:00pm.
