Philadelphia's Chiddy Bang has been bubbling under the mainstream radar for awhile now; rapper Chiddy and beatsmith Xaphoon Jones established themselves as the go-to-guys for a track to blast at your next college house party with bangers like the MGMT-sampling "Opposite of Adults" and "Pass Out," Chiddy's electrifying freestyle over the Tinie Tempah hit. But they've yet to release an album proper, as they've only stuck to mixtapes and EPs thus far. That will change come February 28, when their debut album Breakfast is scheduled to drop. For now, though, we'll have to be satisfied with the album's first official single, "Ray Charles," which was released the other day. It's another solid Chiddy Bang party song, paying homage to its namesake with a bouncy piano sample and a namedrop in the refrain. Listen below:
