Tonight: John Lennon Tribute

Tonight, Nietzsche's will host the 25th annual edition of "Cold Turkey," a celebration of the life and work of pop/rock legend John Lennon. Over a dozen acts will take the Allentown stage for a mere $5 cover charge, providing great reason to get out of the house and enjoy the beautiful fall weather we're having.

Notable performers include Tom Stahl and the Dangerfields, McCarthyizm, and Xander and Julia Meldrum, children of the event's late founder, Michael. Even Buffalo News music critic Jeff Miers will reverse his role tonight, as he'll perform on stage with his son, Declan. If you've ever been to a show and disagreed with his review of it, tonight's your chance to get some revenge! (Just kidding, Jeff - break a leg.)

Lennon's entire career - from his hits with The Beatles to his solo work and other collaborations - will likely be covered. The show begins at 8:30 p.m.
