Tonight: Lowest of the Low

Is it just me or is New Years Eve frustrating? As much as I look forward to putting the last year behind me and "starting over" I'm always overwhelmed with this day. Theres a million parties, a million shows; (just check Buffablog's list of holiday shows!) I can never make up my mind what to do. One consideration this year for all you rock-loving folks is to see Lowest of the Low at Town Ballroom. Remember them? They had a lot of success (mostly in Canada) during the 90's with their unique brand of alternative-flavored indie rock. Shakespeare My Butt even ranks as one of the top ten Canadian releases of all-time. If you want to ring in the New Years with a big concert, theres no better place than here. Tickets are a bit pricey ($42 in advance) but the show starts relatively early (8pm) so you'll still have time to sulk when that bell drops at midnight. Happy 2012!

  1. actually, the Sabres game is the opener tonight. The set will start promptly AFTER the Sabres game. It'll be on all the screens in the building before.
