Just Announced: Van Halen (with David Lee Roth) in Buffalo!!!

Van Halen used to be fun. Before the bickering, and lawsuits, and Sammy Hagar, and bad albums, and TMZ drama, they were STUPID fun; like clowns, and balloons and confetti and air guitar solo fun. (ok, I'll stop saying fun). David Lee Roth was the ringleader of that circus and when he left, lets just say that was the day us partiers stopped paying attention. Sure, the band soldiered on with Sammy Hagar, and, yes, he was good in his own right, but it's kind of apples and oranges. You can't compare an ape throwing shit to a wine and cheese party. Some of us just love the dumber things in life. Recently it was announced that the band would be touring with the classic lineup again (minus bass player Michael Anthony). On March 09, 2012 the band will find their way to First Niagara Center, for, argueably, a hefty sum of money. It's the first time they've played Buffalo in quite some time and the first time they've played this city with Roth since the early '80's.

I have no expectations. But if the below video is enough to inspire i'm willing to take the ride and pretend I'm 12 years old again. Van Halen forever.
