Animal Collective have just released two magnificent new songs on their website called “Honeycomb” and “Gotham”. The songs will be released June 26 on a 7” and are available for pre-order. The digital bundle goes on sale tomorrow. Both songs are incredibly catchy. “Honeycomb” is vibrant and disarrayed, while “Gotham” sedates and is a lot more stripped down with sprawled out vocals. Hopefully these are slices of an album in the works that the Collective said they were working on this year.
